Kerri Walsh Jennings: A Calling to Competition – ITCM 42

Kerri Walsh Jennings is a five-time Olympian, qualifying four times in beach volleyball and once in indoor volleyball. Kerri won three consecutive gold medals with partner Misty May-Treanor, making them the most dominant beach volleyball team in history. Kerri was also a four-time All-American at Stanford University, leading the Cardinal to back-to-back national championships in 1996 and ’97. Now at 44, Kerri is preparing to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. In this intimate conversation, Kerri talks about her new beach partner, her recent foot surgery, her family, her training, and her calling to competition.
