Jeffrey Gold, M.D., became the 9th President of the University of Nebraska System on July 1, 2024. He is a former cardiothoracic surgeon and the chancellor of the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Gold has raised over 800 million dollars in private philanthropy while also mentoring and developing leaders. Dr. Gold talks with Terry about servant leadership, critical thinking, the future of college athletics, and Nebraska’s newest varsity team: women’s flag football.
